Is this hotel in Madrid in a central location? - grand hotel de champagne
I'm going to Madrid in mid-June I was told to find a hotel in the Sol or Gran Vía, as both are in a central location. I think that is a beautiful hotel in the heart of the business district of Madrid on the Golden Mile, the address of Claudio Coello, 139, 28006, Madrid Spain. I wonder if it either in the area of Sol and Gran Via. If not, how far is it from these places? If you know Madrid and please help answer my question. Thank you very much.

Mmhh, no, not really. This is a good place for business and shopping in the boutiques along and costly Serrano, Velázquez, Goya. But it is in the heart of the city. I'd say about 40 minutes Cybele and retirement, and another 15 minutes to Sol and Plaza Mayor. Went.
Nice area though.

Does it have a metro stop? Is Sol or Gran Via?
You can search for MapQuest or GoogleMaps city map and location of the property.
I'm not sure you should give this link, what I feel when I look. Sometimes you just need to homepage ... but instead must prove the address on the search in GoogleMaps and ... This is a walk of two miles from the Plaza de Cibeles, the end of the Gran Via.

I think the hotel you mention is the Hotel de Madrid center. It is a 10 minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor, very close to the sun, perhaps another 3-5 minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor in Sol My memory a bit fuzzy.
